The authors of this book are mainly from countries of the South and work within their churches and civil institutions to overcome the ”Monster Gender Injustice“.
In Argentina for example, this monster is the cause of increasing violence by men against women, as demonstrated in the article by Ana Inés Facal (p. 73). In Zimbabwe, ac- cording to Jonah Gokova (p. 43), it puts men under pressure by demanding high-risk macho behaviour of them.
The opinions of the international authors, their theological considerations and their dreams for a better church and society are presented here to an international audience.
